I’ve got to admit, I had to Google Brooke Candy; this is a tiny collection for Halloween from MAC in collaboration with the US rapper and singer. I don’t even know if Brooke is that well-known in the UK, but you know, a stunning red lip is a stunning red lip and I don’t think it really matters if we don’t necessarily have a reference point.
MAC Brooke CandyThere are two lipsticks in the Amplified formula, which means you get a high pigment. The shade I’m showing is Mind Control, but there’s another in Which Witch and it’s a deep plum. There’s also a liquid liner in Boot Black. See? I said it was tiny! You can find it HERE.
Also, MAC have just sneaked out this Contour Duo – I haven’t seen this anywhere yet, but it’s already on the site HERE for £20.50.
I don’t contour, but I’ve tested the formula and it’s a gentle shading powder in a colourway that I think most tones could use – it feels quite creamy – and blends beautifully. If I wanted cheekbones I’d use it!

Amplified formulas are my favourite from MAC lipsticks, I do love a bold lip! That shade looks absolutely beautiful, I will have to sneak in and take a look very soon.

I don’t know who Brooke Candy is either, haha! But this collection looks fab, MAC never disappoint when it comes to Limited Edition collections, do they!? I find it interesting that MAC have created a contour duo, I didn’t think it would be something they would incorporate into their line! Great post xx

I love that red shade, it’s a gorgeous rich colour. I’d love to see the purple shade though.
