As ever, I had so many lovely stories sent in about readers’ favourite walks. The folks at Micro-Pedi really had their work cut out choosing a favourite, but in the end they chose this one from Natasha:

My favourite walk is along the embankment in London. I was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma when I was 18 and the day that I found out I was in remission walked along the river feeling better than I ever had. Walking there now reminds me of what I’ve been through, but it also holds new memories such as University (I went to King’s College London), the start of my relationship with my boyfriend Sam (we shared our first kiss on a freezing cold February day huddled on a bench by the river four years ago), and it’s where I went to celebrate when I found out I had got my dream job (obviously in a nearby bar, Gordon’s).
Because they were so impressed with the entries, Micro-Pedi also awarded five runner up gifts of a Micro Pedi. I have notified all recipients.
