I’m definitely eyeing up the colours for the LOLA Make-Up Spring Collection; I think this coming spring favours the blue eyed because I’ve seen so many of these peachy coral colours that look gorgeous on browns and greens but really come to life on blues. I always see shades with just numbers and no names as a missed creative opportunity, but above from right to left are: 045, 013 and 019. However, the nail polishes are named so it might be just my samples that don’t have the finished labels – anyway, it’s set my creative juices flowing with thinking up some names!

And here are the next three – the green, by the way, is gorgeous. From right to left: 033, 034 and 035.

The formula of Lola shadows is lovely – it’s very soft and easy to blend and the colours actually look far more vibrant out of the packaging than in it. I think you could get some beautiful looks from these colourways.

It’s the nails that are really calling my name from the LOLA Make-Up Spring Collection – I’d wear any of these three colours in a heartbeat; from right to left Prom Queen, Camel Brown and Tangerine Dream. I wonder how many make up items there are called Tangerine Dream? I seem to see that name a lot!

Yum! To all of these. They’re gorgeously glossy and have that creamy element in the colouring that I love. The new collection from Lola launches in Marks & Spencer on 31st March. I think the price points are quite high, but the quality is very good so a worthwhile investment if you see one colour that you’ll use a lot. Single eyeshadows are £10 each and Nail Polishes are £8 each.
