Lime Crime Hi-Lite Opals Palette

If you’ve followed the Lime Crime story then you’ll realise why I don’t feature it very often, but the new Lime Crime Hi-Lite Opals Palette is a very decent (if pricy) piece of make-up and absolutely bang on for the current multi-lights trend in contouring and highlighting. Better than very many that I’ve seen.

Lime Crime Hi-Lite Opals Palette

Made from three solid blocks of iridescent pastel powder shades, the first is a cream shade with one hell of a pink shift – on the skin it’s pink, in the palette its just a kind of creamy, buff shade. The second is a light lemon with a gold shift and the third is a peach with a bronze shift.

I’ve used the only light available below (why do I get palettes that need light on the greyest days!) to give you more of an idea of the big lights coming off this.

The exterior packaging is cardboard (sturdy) coated with an iridescent film and top ingredient is mica and it’s a vegan and cruelty free brand (they have Leaping Bunny status). Whatever your views on Lime Crime are, I think this is probably their best piece yet. It’s £32.95 HERE – and it’s swatched on both black and white skin so you can really see what it’s going to do on your tone.
