Two shades from Lacquer Lab have caught my eye – the first is the spicy Souk In The City which reminds me of YSL Opulent Canelle, one of my favourite nail colours ever. Souk in the City is a creamy paprika toned colour that looks gorgeous on hands that are lightly tanned. It seems to need the warmth of a bit of bronzing around it. Not so Fountain of Youth, that’s a warm toned minty green flecked with gold.

At £7 each, I like these colours for being rather different from the usual pinks/corals/turquoises and bringing something unusual to the summer party.

One of the things I also like about Lacquer Lab is that they list the ingredients in their polishes – it’s very rare for a polish brand to do that. They’re also Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Toluene and Camphor free, and not tested on animals. You can find Lacquer Lab HERE.
