La Roche Posay CC Creme
La Roche Posay CC Creme

To say that this CC Creme from La Roche Posay is for rosacea wouldn’t quite be correct – it’s more for skin that flushes very easily or has naturally high colour. but overall it’s aimed at tackling skin redness. Interestingly, it doesn’t rely on green pigment to keep redness at bay.

Although it looks quite yellow toned in the picture, when I swatched it my impression was that it was more pink – but the effect blends out to a light-medium tone. It’s one universal shade so there aren’t any colour options but it is the lightest of coverage. Although we have lots of CC creams that do a great job of giving coverage, this one is specifically aimed at reddened skin and contains ingredient Ambophenol – a plant extract that seems to really give great results treating rosacea and redness thanks to its soothing and calming properties. There are some interesting clinicals on this plant extract (not related to La Roche Posay) suggesting that it genuinely does help redness conditions.

If you have redness or high colouring related skin issues, this is a New Year launch to look out for. In fact, you should probably check out the entire Rosaliac range – I didn’t even know it existed but I’ve checked in several Rosacea forums and it comes out as very highly rated. Find it HERE.
