La Montana Alfredo’s Cafe

You know when you go to Spain there are loads of little cafes serving strong shots of coffee – but when you peer inside and see people on their stools deep in conversation, you realise you’ll feel too much of an outsider to go in? Well, if you never did make that leap and step inside, La Montana Alfredo’s Cafe candle will give you a clue that in some cases that enviable ambience smells as good as it looks.

I’ve featured La Montana candles before – they’re hand poured in Spain with a 40 hour burn time and high percentage of natural essential oils so you get some proper fragrance flowing through your home. La Montana Alfredo’s Cafe smells tobacco-y and coffee-ish with sweet, leathery notes and a splash of brandy. It sounds like it’s going to be a hefty fragrance, but it isn’t – it’s light but atmospheric. Interestingly, La Montana is developed by a London couple who made the transition to a different, Mediterranean lifestyle – I guess you could say they stepped into that cafe. Alfredo’s Cafe is a real place which makes it that bit better.

You can find it HERE for £25.
