Mystery Smoky Eye Pencils
Mystery Smoky Eye Pencils

The Kiko Daring Game posts could easily run to a part 3 – there are so many different products in the range, so I’m picking out what I think is the very best of the collection. Starting with the Mystery Smoky Eye Pencils:

These pencils are quite different, packaging wise with very long slender gold lids that covers most of the actual pencil – there’s a brush at the end for smoking up and smudging. There are six shades, and I have three here.

Of all make up, I like eye pencils best – so transformative and mood-matching. As eye pencils go, the Kiko Mystery  Smoky Eye Pencils are packed with pigment and have a slight shimmer to them for a metallic effect. I’d wear all these shades. From bottom to top: No.2, No.13 and No.4. Bearing in mind there are only six of these, I’m wondering how they got to 13! They’re £6.90 each.

Still sticking with the casino theme, there are six shades of Ace of Diamond Lipstick.

I have two to swatch – bottom is N0.25 and top is No.27. Lots of pigment in them, but I haven’t tested for last. The finish is demi-matte – so a very slight sheen to it and the formula doesn’t seem (so far) to have sucked every last drop of moisture out of my lips. These are £7.90 each which is pretty reasonable bearing in mind that £20+++ isn’t unusual for a lipstick. In fact, they’re pretty good value if you count in the packaging as well.

So, that’s it for my round up – there are nail polishes, lip pencils and pencil shadows too. This is Kiko’s best ever collection, I think – it’s easily out-packaging and out-performing a lot of premium brands this time around. The Kiko Daring Game Collection has already launched HERE.
