I’m so excited about this collaboration; for all his ridiculousness, I am a total Karl fan and also a Shu fan, so it’s kind of my dream collection. Karl Lagerfeld uses Shu Uemura make up to paint his designs.. I was going to give it a go just to see if they are miracle paints, but swatching the beautiful palette was hard enough.. I just don’t think I can actually get that palette wet or mess it up any further! So, here are the swatches of the couple of items that I have…

Above is the Karl For Shu Prestigious Bordeaux Palette with five eye shadows and one tiny blush. Oh, that brush by the way is my swatch brush. It’s a little Revlon one and it is the brush I use for all BBB swatches – it picks up exactly the right amount of colour, washes perfectly and takes all kind of smudging, wiping and pressing abuse and still bounces back!

These are the little stickers that come with the Nail Color; this shade I am holding is Shu Shu Red. My major complaint here is that there aren’t enough stickers! Put more stickers in! Vote for more stickers! 

There is no top coat over the sticker which looks much smoother once you apply that. But, cute, no?

This is Mon Shu Red in Rouge Unlimited – it’s an absolutely beautiful sheer with strong orange tones. The girl icon is called Mon Shu.

The collection launches at Selfridges and www.shuuemura.co.uk on 14th October then nationwide from 1st November.
