Join Us At Tablecrowd

A few months ago, Hayley at LBQ and I held a talk with Tablecrowd called ‘Ask Us Anything’ – and people certainly did! We had a box where anyone joining us could post through their questions anonymously to ask us absolutely anything about blogging. We answered every single one completely honestly. Sometimes, I think us bloggers think it’s just us that’s in a fog of confusion about what the future holds, why we do what we do and how to always be looking for ways to make everything we do better, but it’s not. The evening was a mix of bloggers, PRs, marketing and brands and it was absolutely great! We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people who were there just to learn. It was a complete sell out (whew.. we imagined a table of three for quite some time, two of those being myself and Hayley!).

To explain, we don’t make any money from these talks – the cost is £37 to include food and wine – our interest is in educating around the field of blogging and social media, and all that entails. Rather than just sit and think about it, we’re getting out there and doing it. So, the forthcoming talk is about Disclosure (including hot topic, Native Content), Brand Collaborations, and Changes In The Blogosphere – it’s a wide ranging topic because changes are frequent across all areas and both Hayley and I are on the frontline of it, so to speak. We’ll bring the anony-box again because sometimes it’s easier to ask questions that way and you can be assured you will have our honest opinions and answers.

Everyone is welcome – from bloggers, readers, brands, PRs, marketing bods – anyone at all. The evening is informal, wine is free-flowing (yes, headaches the next day) and from our last experience, the food is delicious.
