I posted about these sweet and spicy fragrances at the time of the press viewing, but now they’ve actually launched, I thought I would quickly revisit.
I’m not a fan at all of foodie smells in fragrance – I’d just rather eat that cake than smell like it. At the time of the preview, I was so disappointed with the Elderflower & Gooseberry fragrance, which would be exactly my olfactory cuppa, but I just couldn’t get any gooseberry smell from it at all. I’ve subsequently tried it again, and yes! I really got it – on the opening burst of the fragrance was the most beautiful, crisp gooseberry and I loved it. I also liked Lemon Tart – sweet and tart at the same time.
Recurrent and Cream is very pretty too, but I still pass (or actually run from Bitter Orange & Chocolate and Ginger Biscuit!). Find them HERE. (It’s worth a look for the imagery alone.)

I went to have a sniff of these the other day. My favourite was Lemon Tart, but i wasn’t keen on the sweet part of it. I ended up buying Lime, Basil and Mandarin instead 🙂
