See, now I can’t help having a bit of a problem with the Jenny Packham for Lancome set. Basically, buy two items (one to be skincare, usual deal) from Lancome and you get all the minis seen above and the bag. No issue with the minis because they’re always useful, but I don’t know.. I just kind of expected a little more creativity as far as the bag is concerned. I mean, it’s a blue and white checked bag. And, that’s all. I think if you’re going to the effort of working with a fabulous designer, then be a bit more fabulous about it!
It’s exclusively at Harvey Nicks just now but available nationwide while stocks last from 28th May.

You know I like that bag, in my head the pattern is a switch up of the strings on a tennis racket and a picnic blanket and with Wimbledon around the corner…
Mind you saying that I haven’t bought anything Lancome for years, in a beauty world where there are so many super exciting launches I just feel it’s a bit ‘so what’ as a brand – so actually you’re right, this kind of collaboration could have been something to make me evolve that perception rather than just be reminded of tennis!
I completely agree! I had this issue with the Birchbox collaboration with Lulu Guinness. I know it’s a bit of a different type of product, but when you make a huge deal about a collaboration, I expect it to be impressive. Something you wouldn’t find anywhere else!
