I saw in the New Year with bright red and shiny nails using the new Seche range. Actually, I’m quite impressed with it – it’s super glossy and a nice thick-enough consistency. I’m totally over thin nail polish – I know that nail artists love a very fluid polish but for at home, it’s pretty much nothing but effort!

I haven’t made any resolutions – I really try to choose another time of the year to make any lifestyle changes – January and February are the hardest months to get through – I’m not adding in a gym membership to make things even worse! The one thing I am going to do is continue to keep a very tidy timeline on Twitter with people I actively want to be there. I read today that if you Tweet too much you lose your influence. I think if you’re in a position to fret about your influence over enjoying Twitter for what it is, you should probably never Tweet again til your ego has been well and truly sanded down. My timeline is a really happy place and I’m keeping it that way. People I follow are a complete mix; a lot of beauty of course, but also current affairs, fashion and humour. I’m sure there are people I ‘should’ follow, but really don’t care to. The worst people to follow, I have found (and subsequently mostly deleted) are journalists because they approach Twitter with the view that they know more than everyone else and consider  their Twitter audience as there to listen to them rather than interact with. Which is very annoying; but totally their own loss.

I hope 2013 is a wonderful year for all BBB readers and I wish you all the happiness in the world.
