It’s almost not about the fragrance with this brand that is a new Anthropologie ‘own label’ because the packaging is so beautiful. Inspired by young women of the 19th century on their ‘grand tour’ the first scent to launch is 1842 Rosa Alba, £50. If you love roses, it’s quite a true rose fragrance with a backdrop of Darjeeling, lily and cashmere musk amongst other notes. The bottle shown comes with a pincushion lid and detailed hat pins. Alternatively, the long bottles – inspired by Victorian tear catchers – come in a beautiful box with floral bag (although I could not get the cap off mine!), £24.
