Retin Oil
Retin Oil

Soooo… I’ve been waiting for this one for a while! It’s Deciem’s Hand Chemisty Retin-Oil, a retinoid complex oil for anything and everything, from scars and stretch marks to dehydrated skin.

There are some big claims on this one so brace yourselves! The main claim is that Hand Chemisty Retin-Oil offers the same results as prescription only Retin A, but without any irritation (or a prescription, obviously). If you know anything about chemistry (can’t say I do!) then you’ll know that vitamin C and vitamin A are hard to put together – but that’s what’s happend in this, along with an algae complex and Vitamin E. The next claim is that results are apparent in two weeks which is a very short period of time. Results being hydration, brightening and a reductions in lines.

I can’t, hand on heart, advise you to put this on your face. Right now, I don’t really care what’s happening under the cashmere, but I do care what winter is doing to the skin on my face. So, I’m going to try it there…but let me be the guinea pig! I think that when Deciem starts making face products, Hand Chemisty Retin-Oil, in a face version will be among the first that we see. It’s actually quite a small bottle at 100ml for a body product, so if you’re feeling experimental, I’d advise for hands.

Deciem is a young and adventurous brand – I’ve said before that I’ve yet to meet a product from them that doesn’t do what it says it will, so I feel quite confident in this. You can find Hand Chemisty Retin-Oil for £20 HERE.
