The forthcoming Guerlain Les Delices de Bain is so lovely! I just don’t have a single criticism of it because it just hits that luxury spot in being both beautiful and filled with fragrance that makes you smile. I cannot remember when I was last tempted by a posh deodorant (Mitchum Advanced Control here! nothing glam at all) but this one will be used to the last drop.

The Guerlain Les Delices de Bain is just about the pleasure of bathing – the ritual of fragrant water and perfumed body hydration – grab your fluffiest towel and enjoy! The fragrance itself is citrus, in a slightly candied way, but add in orange blossom and almond and there you have it.

It’s important to note that it isn’t over-perfumed – if anything, it’s just slightly under and it leaves your nose searching for more: achievable if you use the shower and bath gel and then layer with the body lotion. The bottles are plastic versions of the Guerlain Bee bottle that all its fragrances come in.

If you need a treat to self, this is probably it, but I have to warn that they’re steep on prices: The Shower Gel (which you can use as a bath foam if you want) is £35, the Body Lotion is £40 and the Deodorant is £34. If I had to choose just one, I’d go for the deodorant – it’s something a bit different and does feel special for such a mundane general product. They’ve just launched at John Lewis HERE.
