Essence Blush Brush
Essence Blush Brush

If My Little Pony made blush brushes! I know it’s just a dip dyed brush but I think it’s so pretty – I’ve genuinely never seen a lilac version before. It’s part of the Essence Spring 2015 collection and makes up in some part for the fact that inexplicably, Essence has decided that the UK isn’t getting the Cindarella collection with its pretty rose embossed blush.

I’ve teamed it here with the new Essence Sun Club 2-in-1 Bronzong Powder – it’s a bronze and highlighter in one and not too shimmery. Each bronzer is produced individually so no one will ever be exactly the same. At £3.49, it’s a bit of a snip. I don’t have a price for the My Little Pony brush, but Essence is truly a budget brand so I can’t see it being much over the £3 mark. It’s also a very nice quality brush for the price – although clearly, not a dupe for the likes of NARS or anything like that.

Essence’s new launches are all around a nude look – so look out for even more beige appearing on the market. I actually thought I was totally over the nude thing until I saw the D&G palette… now I realise that no matter how much nude you have, there is still room for more!

There’s a whole raft of candy inspired colours for nails coming soon, but for now, these pastel trend shades above are so pretty if you love the whole peach/pistachio vibe. These colours shouldn’t go together but somehow they just do. I’m trying to figure out a way to wear them both at once! I have flagged Essence nail polishes before as truly excellent purse friendly products – they’ll match any pricy brand in terms of longevity of wear. They’re only £1.79 each!
