If it’s glam skin care you’re after, Erno Laszlo fits the bill. I’ve posted previously on this brand, founded by Dr Erno Laszlo and used by a gazillion celebrities including Marilyn Monroe (Dr. L used to whip up bespoke formulas for his famous clientelle). I’ve used several of the products, but I’ll say straight away that this newest product into the range, Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Refresh Infusion, isn’t tested yet, so it’s more information only. However, what I will say is that when Erno Laszlo was bought by Charles Denton, within a couple of months, his skin was tranformed! I really remember vividly meeting him in Harrods after he’d had the brand for a few weeks and seeing a marked difference. So, it’s an easy recommend if you have the budget. Erno Laszlo is very expensive – the new product is £100.

So, Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Refresh Infusion is as it sounds – a blend of super hydrators, including micro-encapsulated hyaluronic acid, rose extracts and pro-biotics – and it’s for dry skin that needs some serious moisture. The inclusion of Vitamin C means that you should also get a brightening boost.

In general, I really do think you can get all your skin requirements from non-luxury ranges, or at least, not have to spend £100 a pot, but every now and again, brands come along that shine brightly in the crowd and this is one of those. Luxury beauty is always a choice, rather than a necessity, and it’s not in Harrods exclusively for no good reason, but if you’re happy to be spendy on skin care, I’d very much recommend.
