Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream
Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream

Oh hello, packaing is getting all gussied up for the launch of Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream with a smattering of flowers. I remember first using Frangipani Monoi Body Oil and just being blown away by the fragrance – and the fact that in winter it went solid and you had to soak it in hot water to get it to come out of the bottle. It’s a while since I’ve used it so I don’t know if it still does that. The Frangipani Shower Cream I could kind of take or leave, but Monoi Salt Glow still sits in my cupboard as a go-to.

If you don’t know the scent of Frangipani Monoi, it’s kind of sexy-holiday. That’s about the best way I can put it – exotic, tropical, skin, sunshine, Tahiti,  flowers – all those things and more. The new cream, Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream, isn’t really for deep, deep moisturisation – it’s quite light in terms of hydration but as a daily body moisturiser, completely adequate. If you already have the oil, blend them for a more intense mix.

Unbelievably, it’s Frangipani Monoi’s tenth year, hence the limited edition design (keep it! why is it limited?). Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream is £24 and launches in August although you might spot it as part of a TSV on QVC in July.
