Dior make up Maestro, Tyen has created a nail polish exclusively for the Dior A/W fashion look. The catwalk collection showed a blend of browns, black, tweed and leather offset with nude chiffons, and the polish was created to complement the clothes. The polish, Bronze Libertine is a kind of deep brown/bronze with golden hints – really very pretty and definitely luxury looking. I like this concept – from catwalk to counter – and the fact that the colour is really quite edgy; it would have been all too easy to knock out a purple, burgundy or dark pink…berry shades…I’m not sure how easy it is to wear, but the very fact it is something really quite different sits well with me. It’s a Selfridges exclusive from 6th of September and I think it will give Paradoxical a run for its money.
