I think we are going to start seeing a lot more from Darphin. It’s one of those quiet brands that just goes along without shouting about anything but it’s always reliably good. Darphin was bought by Estee Lauder a few years ago, and while it coasts along discretely with a loyal fan base, it will be getting a shake up and wake up soon! Jane Lauder, Global President and Brand Manager for Origins and Ojon is taking Darphin under her wing so we can expect to see some exciting things in the coming months.
So, back to the product in question; the Perfecting Body Scrub. First up, the smell… it’s gorgeous.. it smells like a floral fruit salad to me. Apart from the apricot seed flakes that give good scrub, the thing I really love about it is that it contains Hyaluronic acid and skin loves that stuff.
You will certainly be rid of dry skin cells, your skin will feel silky soft and you will smell delicious. There’s pretty much nothing not to love about this. There’s a matching body lotion coming as well.
At £29 it’s on the pricey side, but there’s nothing like a cash-splash to make you actually use the stuff, and if you’re starting to think about summer skin prep, then I highly recommend picking it up in May when it hits the counters.

This seems pretty good, but the price tag is holding me back. I always prefer to spend less $$ on products that go down the drain and don’t spend a lot of time on the skin.
