These collars are going nowhere this season – I love a little collar detail on sweaters and tops (sorry but J Crew are the masters of the little collar top) but it’s quite easy to make a mistake with them. For a start, when it comes to washing, black against white can make the white collar go a little grey so you need to do a cold wash to ensure against any colour running. Second, if you make the look too stark, you can end up looking like an old fashioned ladies maid. Just add pinny and a feather duster. The top above is from ASOS and costs £32 HERE and teamed with jeans looks fab.
I’ve got to admit, I love this.. it’s the perfect colour-way to look autumnal with a bit of magic. It’s also totally a bargain at £35 HERE.
