It’s only a matter of days before Breast Cancer Awareness month kicks in – this year I won’t be highlighting every single thing that comes my way. I question always exactly how much ends up with the charities, and while every little helps, sometimes it seems to be more about the brand than the cause. So, yes of course, make your purchases, but my advice is always to question how much from the overall price goes back to breast cancer charities and then decide if you’d rather make a more generous donation yourself and forgoe the lipstick.
So, before all that kicks into play, I thought I’d give a heads up on Clarins and Feed 10. Feed 10 was founded in 2007 by Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson as a non-profit organisation that raises funds for The World Food Programme. Between 21st September (today) and 4th October, if you buy any two Clarins products, one to be skincare, you get this Feed 1o bag full of goodies. Inside you’ll find generous sample sizes of Moisture Rich Body Lotion, Relax Bath & Shower, Gentle Refiner, Hydraquench Cream Mask and Hand & Nail Treatment. Each time someone qualifies for a Feed 10 bag, Clarins provide 10 school meals via the UN World Food Programme. These meals are given to children in developing countries and are nutritious and balanced food for kids who otherwise may not eat at school.
So, if you need to stock up on your Clarins skincare, now’s the time to do it .. a purchase with a purpose. If you want to tweet about the Feed 10 gift, use hashtag #feed10.

I wrote a few things for the World Food Programme years ago, so I had to do a stack of research on them and they are one of the most amazing United Nations agencies. They achieve so much with so little and they make a massive difference in developing countries or in areas that have been hit by disaster. They are so much more than just a food handout agency – they have really clever methods of getting a regular supply of food into hungry bellies and changing lives. They are really well worth supporting.
