This hand treatment (which me and my mum always call ‘Youngness of Hands’ for some silly reason) is an absolute classic; it’s a continual best-seller for Clarins which tells you more than I ever can. With shea butter, sesame oil, myrrh and Japanese Mulberry extract Jeunesse des Mains is pretty near a perfect product. Anyway, what you might not know is that Clarins hold a Royal Warrant, so in time for the Diamond Jubilee, Clarins are supersizing their best-seller to a 200ml tube (and giving a cost saving of £12) and it’s on sale from May. I don’t really blog about many press events but they’d made such a lovely job of giving journos the ‘royal treatment’ with a room done up in bunting and a throne to sit on while we had our manicures (with David Barton… and I wouldn’t miss that!) that I took some pictures to show you.

Royal Biscuits from Biscuiteers

Super Size Me!

£1 from each hand-cream sold is going to a charity chosen by The Queen; it’s the Queen Elizabeth Scolarship Trust (QEST) which is a charity that supports artisanal craftsmanship in the UK which seems pretty fitting.

I didn’t eat them all myself.. honest!
