Mini fragrances are totally a thing! However, it doesn’t mean mini prices in the case of Chanel. These 15ml Les Exclusifs de Chanel Extraits are £155 a pop. I remember when Chanel brought out Beige – nobody could believe that a fragrance called Beige could be anything exciting, but because it was Chanel, the understated name appeared everywhere. It’s a very pretty fragrance, too.
However, what I really wanted to show you is the beautiful presentation release that came with the fragrances. It is no wonder I’m a Chanel hoarder (can you imagine if I ever ended up on The Hoarder Next Door – those cleaning ladies would be like, ‘oh no, you can’t throw that away’). The booklet – or book – has about 20 pages explaining the fragrances; their notes etc, but also dotted throughout are little fabric Chanel labels, drawings and photographs of Coco Chanel, taped in photo album style.
It is a charming and beautiful thing and I thought you’d like to see it.

You should definitely never ever throw that away. It might never be worth a fortune, but it’s stunning – something every woman would be proud to have! As for the actual perfumes, at £155 for a 15ml I think I’ll pass…
I own a few of the exclusifs edt versions. I always get compliments on Jersey. I do own Cuir de Russie and Bois des Iles in extract.
ouch price wise but gorgeous. I’m a huge sycomore fan
These aren’t really mini fragrances per say they are 15ml of pure perfume, hence the price. You pay 60 odd quid for something like Angel which is 35% perfume or “eau de parfum” so it’s still a good price for a highly pure and also quite niche perfume.
Pure lasts forever too and it’s often the original way the creator intended it to be smelled.
Beautiful packaging but yes blooming expensive. Not sure I could justify the price when I can buy Coco Mademoiselle, my absolute favourite Chanel fragrance, for much less (ok not eau de toilette not parfum). I have the twist and spray version which is super elegant and just perfect for travel.
Thank you for this amazing news. I think they are out of this world – especially for self confessed Chanel lover like me. And with a landmark birthday coming up, I feel justified to splash out on one of these. Please do let me know where these are available in the UK.
