Alongside the launch of Chanel Rouge Allure in October are two new Le Vernis Polishes – Expression, seen above and a curious brown shade, Exception, seen below.
I’m not sure about Exception at all, but come autumn, I’ll probably have a different view!
I’ll have more on the new Chanel Mono shades next week, but for now, a little teaser!
Oh, and I should mention that the Covent Garden Chanel store, which has always been a dedicated beauty space, will now sell Chanel Sunglasses. I don’t have many vices, but Chanel sunnies is definitely one of them – I have so many pairs now, it’s almost embarrassing! I wear sunglasses nearly every day come snow, rain or shine, mainly as hair furniture to keep my hair back so they do all get worn.
Chanel Le Vernis Expression and Exception launch on 3rd October for £18.

I find the Chanel polishes to not last longer than a day before chipping, even with base and top coat! It’s such a miserable situation, especially when Expression is such a gorgeous shade!
Thanks for sharing – I’ve never splurged on Chanel polish because the basic Essie and OPI always seem to do the job. The shades look gorgeous as do the bottles and of course, the displays make them so appealing it’s hard to resist but now that I know, I think I’ll stick to my usual mani/pedi 🙂
I’m glad I’m not the only person who wears sunglasses WHATEVER the weather!
