Noorah EDP
Noorah EDP

Well, where to start with Bvlgari Le Gemme! I have a release a mile long explaining how the six Bvlgari Le Gemme fragrances that I think could be a subject in Mastermind – it’s very difficult to cut through the information to get to the real news! Anyway, you can probably tell that the collection is inspired by jewels – Bvlagri is most famous for its jewellery so it’s no surprise that the sourcing of gem stones from around the world gives a theme to each of the six scents – the translation of a gem into perfume, I guess.  Above is Noorah, inspired by Turquoise. Noorah is described as cheerful and oriental with notes of galbanum, cardamon, iris, benzoin, patchouli and vanilla. It sounds rather delicious.

The thing that I’m most intrigued by is the packaging – the fragrances just look sensational and 100% ornamental; I’d gladly have this on my mantlepiece, never mind tucking it away in a bathroom cupboard. I haven’t smelled any of the scents and bearing in mind that it’s Bvlgari, the price doesn’t seem off the scale either at £105 although it rises to £230 for the 100ml. No surprise either that it’s on a Harrods exclusive – and not on-line either.
