Sheer lipsticks really are the perfect thing for me – the new Burberry Kisses Lipstick is all about the sheer. The lipsticks have a magnetic closure which means if you have more than one they do not like to be parted from each other and so I’ve been chasing these around trying to separate them for a picture! I know, #bloggerproblems ;-).

Despite being disapproving of extreme lipstick prices (these are £25 each), sometimes you do have to pay for exactly the right thing. Lots of lipsticks make the claim to be all things to all women, but Burberry Kisses Lipstick does seem to be close to that – one swipe and you have a very sheer, gleaming wash of colour, a bit more and it intensifies. It doesn’t have the massive colour impact that some do, but you really can play around with these to get the density you like (other than the deepest).

So, here they are looking gentle – the shades are: English Rose, Devon Sunset and Pomegranate Pink (see, they’re stuck together!). I will say, though, that on the lip, they do come up a little bit darker than the swatches shown on my arm.

I’ve just taken a quick shot in the sunshine so you can see they’re nice and juicy on the finish and the formula contains tea, lavender and rosehip.

The Burberry Kisses Lipstick collection has 28 colours… if you love a sheer lip that has some substance to it, they’re already at Harrods, HERE.
