So, a new range from No7 whose selling point is that there is no toner, so it is a two step system and not a three step system. Not really revolutionary, because a lot of women have long since realised that toning is more for the financial health of the beauty brand than the health of their own skin. However, some new cleansers look rather promising: Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm for dry/Very dry skin, Foaming Cleanser for Normal/Oily skin and Melting Gel Cleanser for Normal/dry skin, plus Cleaning Lotion for Normal/Dry skin and my favourite, Cleansing Water for Normal/Oily skin.. the latter is like a micellar water (such as Bioderma Crealine) so there is pretty well an option for everyone. And, as you’d expect they’re nicely priced at around the £9 mark for 150/200ml. Without going into the detail of each and everyone, they’ve got some lovely ingredients such as rosehip oil and multivitamins and minerals.

Added to the cleansers are three new moisturisers, again skin type specific, so the pared down system is really targeting your exact skin issues.

No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream

These three new BBs are much more on the mark as *proper* BBs – each one is targeted to address a specific skin type. A 4-in-1 formula to enhance skin tone, disguise imperfections, banish blemishes and protect the skin with SPF15, I’m ultra impressed that they are properly targeting different skin needs and it’s not just another one-cream-fits-all. Also, to mention is the UVA 5* rating – really worth buying to delay the onset of sun-related wrinkles.

Everything is out on 25th January 2012 – the BB’s cost £15 each.
