Lip & Cheek Doll
Lip & Cheek Doll

I was so disappointed to miss The Body Shop Christmas show, but I’ve just had a selection of goodies delivered and my eyes lit up (not literally – saving that for Halloween) when I spied this cute little Momji-style doll.

Inside the dolly is a lip and cheek stain – it’s really such a pretty thing! I love that The Body Shop is really upping the ante – it’s been ingrained in my brain for such a long time as a kind of hempy-worthy brand but I have had to revise my thinking of late – especially after their beautiful nail polish launch. I’m still using those colours and loving them. Their creative updates are an absolute pleasure to see and The Body Shop is one to watch – if you’re interested in such things – because their trajectory in terms of creativity and rebranding is heading skywards. We’re seeing in real time a brand changing in front of our eyes.

The stain itself is an orangey-red shade – it’s got reasonably good last and I prefer it on lips to cheeks for a slightly amplified natural look.

Better yet, The Body Shop is working with War Child this year so it’s spreading the love and making sure that Christmas isn’t one giant commerical splatter.

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Doll is £10. They’re not quite ready on-line with their festive stuff but I’ve just checked the site and there’s a 50% off offer taking place right now on non-Christmassy stuff. It’s HERE.
