I’m definitely happier now I have seen and tried this newbie from MF that is replacing my beloved Second Skin; it looks very similar in appearance and texturally is pretty much no different. It does run to matte which isn’t a favourite finish of mine so it won’t be replacing Second Skin in my make-up bag (which is now a drawer actually!) but I know there are a lot of matte foundation fans out there who will love it. It isn’t quite that ‘cruel’ matte that sucks the life out of your face, but a gentler, more flattering finish. Find it HERE for £11.99.

I’m a little bit obsessed with Happy Hour from Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique; a rich chocolate polish with a shimmering gold twist – wear either alone or make a third look by top-coating the gold over brown. It’s £7.99 HERE

The one saving grace of cooler months is that a long steep in a hot bath doesn’t have you fainting with heat – I have far more baths in winter than summer and since I really, really don’t ‘get’ the point of shower gels, baths are my only time to appreciate the surrounding products. I loved using this newbie from NEOM; Tranquility Bath Foam with lavender, sweet basil and jasmine – plenty of fat, soft bubbles presented in an elegant, glass bottle. It’s a proper bath treat. £20 HERE

I love every single one of these L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Khol Pencils – I adore a coloured khol and so far, 107 in Deep See Blue and 109 Azure Blue are absolute favourites and great on brown eyes. Find them HERE for £4.38 (that’s Ocado.. weirdly).
