I’ve just noticed that the Estee Lauder Violet Underground Palette has gone on sale HERE, and also the vampy Violet Undergrounds Lipsticks HERE.. these are going to be hard to resist…and actually, either colour, Black Cassis or Violet Crush are spot on for autumn trends. I can’t wait to see all these vampy shades start to appear – a flick of black liner and minimal blush is all you need to make properly statement lips.
I’m such a fan of creme blush – I very rarely even use powder blush any more, so my top pick for cremes are always Laura Mercier and Daniel Sandler and this beauty from Le Metier de Beaute in Ginger Lily. If you always apply creme blush with a brush you’ll find that you get a much sheerer finish that distributes really nicely and looks very natural. What’s good about the Le Metier cremes is that they tend to have a little more hold and pigment than other creme shades so end up being long-lasting. Find it HERE
Apivita at M&S is still continuing to impress – this little lip tint packed with blackcurrent oil and Vitamin E is delicious – and a snip at £5. Find it HERE
And, finally, the long awaited Bobbi BB is here! On an early release at John Lewis right now or Bobbi Brown it’s got SPF35, comes in 5 shades and is made to a tone-correct formula so you can get a decent match. I had early lab samples of this and love it – it gives just below light foundation coverage and just above tinted moisturiser coverage so it sits as the perfect inbetweener.

Loving the purple lipstick, I would love to try this out. I also excited for the Bobbi Brown BB Cream, I’m not usually fussed about BB Creams, but I have high hopes for this one, surprised it took them so long. Really intrigued to try Apvita, that one looks particularly yummy, their face masks look great too.
Im Asian w yellow undertones, light to medium, nc30. I give this 4.5 stars because it’s pricier than other BB creams. I’ve tried and researched a lot of BB creams and most of them come in just one shade or their shades have a slight grey tone to them. I’ve been using Bobbi’s foundations and tinted moisturizer since her line came out many years ago. Sometimes I stray because her makeup is overpriced IMO, but I always bite the bullet and come back because her colors match me perfectly.
Love the Estee Lauder palette!
