I’ve got so much to blog about at the moment I hardly know where to start but I will kick off with the Superdrug BB Cream, priced at £8.99. I managed to get a couple of their hand-mixed lab samples so I can do swatches so the packaging obviously isn’t as it will be when it launches in May. I like this one a lot; it’s very, very similar in look and texture to the Garnier BB Cream which is still my favourite of all the UK launched BBs. There is a nice dewiness to it that makes skin look really glowy and there is a good deal of moisture content so it’s great for dry skin.

Lab samples

Lighter shade at top, darker shade at bottom

I haven’t fully blended so you can see the initial colour: it blends in beautifully though.

The Sanctuary BB Cream

Again, this is a great blend that offers SPF15; it’s slightly drier in texture than the Superdrug one so for oilier skins, it may be a better option. What I like about this is the injection of Hyaluronic which is your complexion’s best friend for non-oily hydration and it has silica to absorb any excess oils. It comes in med/dark and light and the below swatch is med/dark. It launches in March for £14.99.

Dior Hydra Life BB

Just a sneaky peek at the newest Dior BB – thanks eagle-eye’d readers who alerted me to this newness. It’s aimed at 18-30, SPF30 and contains Mallow for its ability to stimulate cell renewall – as you’d expect there is a lot more focus on the skincare aspect in this one – it’s very high end and looks like it, too. It will cost £41 and launches in May.
