bareMinerals Pop of Passion Blush Balm

I was absolutely convinced that the bareMinerals Pop of Passion Blush Balm would be far too glossy to wear as a cheek product. Once I’d dipped my fingers in, the texture is just as a pot balm might be – slightly glossy and thin.

In fact, you get far more colour on the cheeks than you’d think and once blended, becomes like a sheeny cheek stain – all the subtlty of a stain but with some initial cheek-bone gleam. It’s also the case that the sheen bit wears off after a while leaving you with just the stain. That’s probably for the best if you’re wearing any other gleams or radiance products – I mean, how gleamy can one face get?

There are three shades: going clockwise from the bottom, it’s Posy Passion, Neutral Passion and Papaya Passion. These are also for a June launch for £20 each.
