This is quite a find, and despite its name, nothing to do with the B range from Superdrug. I know how hard it is to get names trade marked etc, so how two brands managed the same one, I am not sure.
However, this gel is absolutely divine. It’s made by the folks at Blink Brow Bars and my first impression is how cooling it is on the skin – I can only imagine how lovely it’s going to feel in summer! Containing organic rose water, aloe vera, plum seed oil and cucumber, the Rose Gel leaves skin feeling soothed straight away, and unlike other gels doesn’t disappear to nothing.. you are left with a very light oiled feel to the skin with a distinct rose fragrance. It’s £24 HERE.

I have been using rose water toner for a while now and I love it so this gel sound amazing!
I think that you meant trade marks rather than patents. Patents protect inventions. Trade mark registrations protect signs that indicate a business, such as a name or a logo. However, it’s very difficult to get trade mark protection for a single letter, which is not surprising when you consider that a trade mark is a legal monopoly in that particular sign for the goods and/or services for which it is registered. To get a trade mark registration for a single letter (i.e. in this case show that you are the only person who should be allowed to use “B” in relation to skincare), you would have to show that the mark had acquired distinctiveness through use, and it would need to be very substantial use at that. Neither of these brands would meet that threshold.
I presume that this is the gel that Blink applies after threading. I have had this used on me and you’re right; it’s very soothing and pleasant, and I’m not that enamoured of roses so it’s definitely worth checking out if you are.
yes, I did mean trade marks.. long day! thanks for clarifying. x
Oh I love the sound of this, esp for Summer as you say.
