There’s so much wow stuff around that actually I’m quite liking the simplicity of these little Aveda shades. Aveda is more known for its shampoos and hair products, but they do also have a small make up range. These Petal Essence singles are £11.25 each, so quite expensive, but their USP is that they are infused with flower waxes and have a very slight floral scent. They’re talc and mineral oil free, too, and made to a non-fade formula. There are also a couple of new lipsticks from this range too which I’ll come back to. The range launches on 1st September.

Loving these colours! Immediately starting imagining how I’d wear them, especially that gorgeous green

Natural but uninteresting colours and £11.25 does seem quite a lot to pay!
