Looking around the internet for cool stuff for nail art, it occured to me that really, there is no bricks and mortar place that you can buy a good variety of amazing nail things. What you can buy in stores tends to be piecemeal or very childish – no thanks to Hello Kitty on my talons! I spotted some gorgeous YSL stickers and the Chanel double C online that I’ve bought before which are fine for one accent nail (any more and it all goes a bit chavvy), but the nail art category in stores is pitiful. However, I think the Andrea Fulerton range at Superdrug is going a long way to address this – the nails above are done using AF nail colour in Julia, and using AF nail tattoos. The chain detail is from the Locks & Keys tattoos and while there’s no way in the world I’ll be adding locks and keys to my nails, the chain is really lovely. I also like the look of the Glitter Puff Dusts used in tiny, tiny amounts over navy or black nails. Andrea’s found an empty corner in the nail market (at Superdrug) and is filling it with usable and wearable art supplies. Can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
