I don’t usually get excited about shoes (well, not ones that I’ll never wear in a million years) so I surprised myself by falling for these outrageously towering beauties from Kat Maconie. So much so, that I tried them on. Call me shallow, but the fact that it was the actual pair that Jessie J wore for the Jubilee concert that swung it and I loved the fact that the sole was dotted with smudge marks where she’d trodden out a cigarette (or ten).

I could only walk super-slowly and laboriously with a ridiculous totter but they elevated my height to such a level that I was seeing the world (okay, the bar) in a whole new way. The most surprising thing is that they are really comfortable. They’re for seasoned heel-walkers only – I hardly ever wear high heels so beautiful as they are, they aren’t for me, but hey, I literally walked in Jessie J’s shoes. Bit of thrill.

There’s a great picture of Jessie wearing the shoes HERE Actually, Kat Maconie shoes aren’t outrageously expensive, coming in at the £200 mark. Her website is HERE
