I was looking at Banana Republic for a summer bag but it’s really quite expensive for something that’s a one-season wonder. GAP is a sister brand to Banana so I always check there as well if I can’t quite stretch to Banana. I like both these totes for summer, holiday and the beach.
GAP ToteThis one is so glamorous – makes me think of St Tropez (as if I’m going there!) – and I’m thinking just with jeans and a white t-shirt, a pair of sunnies and we’re off. That’s if summer ever does get here. Anyway, it’s £34.95 HERE.

I’m usually a big fan of both GAP and Banana Republic. But in the wake of the Bangladesh building collapse, GAP is one of the brands who are holding out on signing the new safety regulations (http://www.nbcnews.com/id/51873044/ns/world_news-europe/t/europe-us-retailers-divided-bangladesh-reform-plan/#.UaXmxpVeLap) So I know I am personally going to be shopping elsewhere this summer, and I think it is important that we make informed choices about the products we buy, so I just wanted to share this. The beach bags are adorable tho.
