First up is the Acid Palette from the Makeup Revolution Redemption Palettes with some stronger than expected pigment on some shades and lighter, more pastel hues for others. If you’re going for yellow or orange I’d recommend a primer first to hold it while you build, but otherwise there are so many spring looks to be had from this.
Loving the payoff and mix of shimmer and matte in Iconic 1.
Iconic 2 also has moments of high sheen!
There’s a much more pink/rose gold tone to Iconic 3.
The shades are all very buildable. I’ve put one of them to the test in wearing and it absolutely wears fine – I automatically use a primer so I would always advise that.
This is the palette that I think has the best shades – there’s no getting away from the fact that the three Iconics are as near to dupes of the Naked Palettes that I’ve seen and at £4 the price difference is phenomenal. You aren’t going to get the same quality, but it’s not far off.. and I mean really not far off. With the lighter shades, you have to work a little harder to get the pay-off and that’s about all the obvious difference there is. You really do have to ditch the sponge applicators though and use a good brush to get the best.
Makeup Revolution is HERE and the Redemption Palettes are what I think will sell out first, so if you’re going, go soon.
