You know when you fall in love IMMEDIATELY with a colour? That x 100 with this, Facet (£14.50), from Illamasqua’s forthcoming Sacred Hour Collection. Grey and gold aren’t natural colour bed-fellows but it’s the slight jarring that makes this colour so special. It’s a proper smoky grey that owes more to exhaust fumes than an open fire so it’s grungy with uplighting in the form of gold. LOVE!
Next up, the New Reflection Palette (£34). In some ways, this is a little bit too much of what we’ve seen before, yet it fits the inspiration of the elements for the Sacred Hour Collection.
They’re beautifully pigmented metallics that aren’t full of chunks of glitter – they’re far more sophisticated than that and the texture is supremely silky. I cannot wait to get the silver shade on my lids!
Add highly pigmented Shard lipstick (£16.50) to a face with metallic silver-grey eyes and you start to get the picture.
Skin Base Lift, in a new formula to enhance and brighten is based on the Skin Base Foundation formula. Each one works in harmony with Skin Base Foundation so you never need to worry about finding a match. White Light (the white one) is a clever pure white illuminator that you can blend with Skin Base Lift to get extra luminosity. They’re best applied with a brush and launch for £16 tomorrow!
Finally, the fluffiest false lashes I’ve ever encountered come in the form of New Lush Lash (£14.50). They’re insanely long and full and who better to model them?
Ha.. not very deep and mysterious like Illa but maybe its my alter ego ;-).
