You can get really creative with the mini liquid chalk pens – there are four of them – that you use over two coats of the chalkboard paint. The sets will cost £18.

I’m not too sure what to think of these. It seems as if Nails inc have all the cool new nail effects done well, and Ciate just think of all the novelty things NI haven’t done..

This is really interesting effect, but all i can think about when i hear the name is how blackboards feel! I couldn’t stand to have that texture on my nails!

  8. They look brilliant. Are they actually like a chalkboard though? Can you wipe off your designs and start again?

Yes you can! Washes off with water or leave for 15 mins tand seal with the matte topcoat. I’ve had a good play and it’s fab!

  9. Omg that’s such a cool idea 🙂

Oh god! Love the look but the idea of blackboard paint on my nails…*cringe*. I can’t even touch chalk/a blackboard.
