Givenchy Spring Make Up 2012

Givenchy have done something very unexpected with their spring collection; they’ve teamed bright red lips and nails with typically spring eye shades such as pink, mauve, green and brown. It’s not something that naturally goes together but artistic director, Nicolas Degennes, has made it look incredibly fresh and created a very vibrant look. I don’t have a model pic so you can see it but it really works and I love that it’s a very different look. That said, I know that the Givenchy Prism is the iconic brand item, but can’t help feeling that we’ve seen it in every which way possible now and I’m really not sure what this year’s one does that last year’s didn’t.

I’ve also noticed that there is a really specific, fresh green that’s coming out for next season; it’s in the Dior range as a polish (Waterlily) and here as an eye colour.

So, here we go:

Le Prism Blush Bucolic Rose

Le Prism Blush Poppy

Gloss Interdit Bucolic Poppy

Vernis Please! Bucolic Poppy

Rouge Interdit Bucolic Poppy

Limited Edition Le Prisme Yeaux Quatuor Bucolic Blossoms

Limited Edition Le Prisme Visage Bucolic Blossoms

I love the new “picture” make-up palettes!! 🙂 Can’t wait to see the new designs these companies come up with 🙂

Everything looks great. I’d like to try lipgloss, lipstick and both blushes.

    Hi,
What would the Le Prism Visage Bucolic Blossom be used for?
It looks similar to a “complexion correction” powder I had from a brand that now doesn’t make much.

Hey BBB I wonder if you could ask your contact for me if they know if I might still find Bucolic Rose anywhere… I’m not having any luck and fear I am too late… 🙁 xx
