Guerlain Parure de Nuit

Ok, so Guerlain have totally pulled it out the bag for this beautiful, covetable pressed powder and blush for their Christmas collection. Parure de Nuit uses pale pink, white, deep pink and blue green to harmonise skin tone. There is a super-soft brush made from blue-green goat hair (I’m quoting from the release with that bit and I would love to meet a blue-green goat) so you can softly sweep across all the shades for face illumination. But look what they did! All you have to do to get a blush effect is sweep diagonally across the three feathers. Perfect. It launches at Harrods on 2nd October and nationwide on 16th October for £41. Oh, and it is violet scented, too. *swoons*

I love this so much, I wouldn’t actually want to use it though as it’s just too cute!

WOW- I love peacock feathers & I love Guerlain so this is the perfect combination. The South American collection for summer was incredible too- they just keep on spoiling us!

I’m a bit sceptical about the green. Surely the point a blusher is to add pink so why put in green to harmonise. BBB we need to see a swatch.

  4. Trimperley, I am not ready to swatch! I need to leave it in its pristine condition for a little while longer. The blue/green will apparently tone down any redness… it doesn’t look blue on the face!

Ooooh one day I will be rich and buy gorgeous expensive violet scented blushes rather than just £2 ones I find at Boots <3

  6. Guerlain is one of those brands that never disappoints. It is always classy but on point with trends. I am salivating over the pretty picture. Thanks.

  8. too gorgeous for words. definitely would have expected something more blingy for the name (jewel of the night) but it remains that it looks super pretty and very covetable indeed. that’s my new word for today 🙂 haha xx
